MOTOROLA ONE features and detailed description and genuine review about the mid-range flagship

No comments :

the Motorola One follows the latest design trends – glass panels at the back and front held together by a metal frame. There’s a display notch too at the top of the screen. However, the glass on the handset doesn’t get smudged easily, which is a good thing.

Motorola One first impressions

The Motorola One features a 5.9-inch IPS display which ships with an HD+ resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 to house the notch. The screen is sharp unless you start pixel peeping, and the viewing angles are quite good too.

Inside the glass-sandwich design, the phone comes equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 chipset. The SoC has made its name as one of the best options in the mid-range, as it maintains a good balance between performance and battery efficiency. The silicon is further supplemented by 4 gigs of RAM. For storage, the phone features 64GB of memory onboard. Fuelling the package is a 3,000mAh battery.

Camera-wise, the Motorola One flaunts 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel snappers at the back. The combination captures images in portrait mode and also comes with features such as the ability to record 4k videos, slow-mo recording, time-lapse, spot colour, etc. One option that particularly caught my interest is Cinemagraph, which turns just a portion of the image into a moving picture.

In comparison, the Motorola One Power lives up to its ‘Power’ name. Not only it comes with a powerful battery, but loaded innards too. Its different in terms of the design language as well. The handset continues with a conventional metal unibody construction and features a heavy build, owing to its 5,000mAh cell under the hood.

Compared to its sibling, the One Power is heavier, thicker and larger too… as it sports a slightly bigger 6.2-inch IPS panel. The screen bears full HD+ resolution, making it sharper than the one on the Motorola One.

In terms of the internals, the One Power comes across as more modern, all thanks to the SD636 octa-core SoC ticking at its core. The processor is paired with 3- or 4GB of RAM. Depending upon the RAM variant, you’ll get either 32GB or 64GB of native storage with the handset.

The shooters on the Motorola One Power are also better as compared to its brother. The dual-camera setup at the back comprises a 16-megapixel snapper coupled with a 5MP telephoto sensor. Along with the portrait mode, you can also get the capability of getting up to 2x closer to the subject with optical zoom-like capabilities.

So as you can notice, there are hardly any similarities between the Motorola One and One Power. And the biggest among that is the fact that the duo marks the Lenovo-owned brand’s re-entry into the Android One segment. As part of the program, the smartphones promise Android updates up to two years, and will be among the first set of phones to offer 9.0 Pie.

Another similarity between the two is that the notch is sizeable, and might seem distracting while watching movies or playing games. The smartphones also ship with selfie snappers of the same resolution… 8MP units. Both handsets support the brand’s Turbo Charging functionality too, with their bundled adapters promising to offer up to six hours of talktime within just 20 minutes of juicing up. In case you aren’t satisfied with the built-in storage on the Motorola One and One Power, then you can expand it further with the use of microSD cards.

Motorola has already announced that the higher-end option of the two siblings, the One Power will be exclusive for India and will heading to our shores in the month of October. Sadly, the brand hasn’t revealed the pricing of the handset. In contrast, the Motorola One carries a price tag of €349 in the European market. While there’s no doubt that the Motorola One Power is a loaded smartphone, its pricing will play a crucial role in its success considering similar specs are offered by the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 (review), which retails for just Rs 10,999 for its base model

GOOGLE PIXEL 3XL SPOTTED WITH A SURPRISE

No comments :

Google Pixel 3 XL images leak ahead of October 9 launch
Photos of the Google Pixel 3 XL have accidentally leaked ahead of the phone's launch in October.
There’s nothing special about the Pixel 3 XL from the design point of view. The phone does not look too different from the Pixel 2 XL, barring the notch above the screen. On the back there’s a single camera shooter, which means the company is going to stick with a single-camera lens setup.
This is certainly not the first time we’ve seen leaked images of the Pixel 3 XL. Earlier last week, the Google Pixel 3 XL was spotted on public transportation in Canada, revealing the first look of the next-generation flagship device.

NEW SMARTPHONE FROM SAMSUNG, Samsung Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime confirmed launch soon

No comments :

Samsung Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime are all set to be the South Korean manufacturer's upcoming smartphones, if support pages on the company's Vietnamese portal are to be believed. Two new smartphones with model numbers SM-J415F/DS and SM-J610F/DS have been spotted on the website, which point towards the impending launch of the Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime. These two smartphones are expected to be from the budget segment, and sit alongside the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy J4 and Galaxy J6.

Both smartphones are expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, and be powered by Qualcomm's range of Snapdragon processors, as per a report by Dutch blog GalaxyClub.nl. These are the Vietnamese support pages for the Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime. The report suggests that the two phones will be first made available in The Netherlands and Vietnam.

To recall, the Samsung Galaxy J4 sports a 5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) Super AMOLED panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a quad-core Samsung Exynos 7570 SoC, paired with 2GB/ 3GB of RAM and 16GB/ 32GB of onboard storage. The phone sports a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the back and a 5-megapixel sensor on the front. There is a 3,000mAh battery under the hood, with a claimed battery life of up to 20 hours.

On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy J6 sports a 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED panel with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and Infinity Display design. The phone is powered by an Exynos 7870 SoC, coupled with 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 32GB/ 64GB of inbuilt storage. Storage is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB). As for optics, the handset has a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.

NOKIA 6.1 PLUS DETAILED REVIEW & SPECIFICATIONS GENUINELY

No comments :

Design and display:

Nokia 6.1 Plus is lighter than what we thought it would be. It easy to pull it out of your pockets and use it with just one hand. This in addition to a compact form factor delivers a good in-hand feel. It is not as long as Galaxy S series flagships nor is it as broad as Vivo Nex. Hence, it manages to deliver a neatly packed powerhouse that looks good.
What you get in terms of looks with the Nokia 6.1 Plus is an all-screen front, which we have seen enough in the market this year. The ‘notch’ unsurprisingly includes a speaker and a front-facing camera. There’s also a small chin below the screen, which shouldn’t be an issue for anyone

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is a slim device with a bezel-less display. It comes with 5.8inch IPS LCD display having a resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels and a sharp pixel density of 435ppi that will deliver a crisp view. It has the aspect ratio of 19:9 which will maximise the display thereby making it look more admirable.

The screen has been protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass which will make sure it is not affected by any minor scratches.

Configuration:

The device is equipped with the octa-core processor (1.8GHz, quad-core, Kryo 260 + 1.6GHz, quad-core, Kryo 260) which has been provided upon the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. The processing of it is handled by the Adreno 509 GPU combinedly, which can render fast performance. The presence of 4GB RAM will be enough for playing high-end games and to keep the multitasking go smoothly.

Camera and storage:

The device has an impressive pair of rear cameras having 16MP + 5MP lenses with dual-color LED flash, which will click bright and mesmerising images. At the front, there is a 16MP snapper which that can capture clear quality images which will delight selfie lovers. For the storage, it comes with an inbuilt space of 64GB. It also has a memory slot that can be expanded up to 400GB via microSD card.

Battery and connectivity:

The Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with a 3,060mAh Li-ion battery. It will render good backup for a moderate user. It is provided with a Quick Charging v3.0 which will refill the powerless time. For the connectivity, the device has 4G VoLTE support. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11, Mobile Hotspot v5.0, A-GPS etc.

Verdict

The Nokia 6.1 Plus looks like a clear improvement over its predecessors. It has a great configuration that can take up any task and perform smoothly. The display quality will also delight users while watching movies and playing games. Just a better battery capacity could have made it an all-round performer in the mid-range.

Nokia 6.1 Plus no doubt seems like a near-complete smartphone when you look at it with the Rs 15,999 price tag. It is not just amidst one of the most competitive smartphone markets in the country but is also HMD Global’s one of the first attempts towards a smartphone with lesser bezels and more screen to body ratio. So as a first attempt the handset is not bad at all.
The smartphone has almost all the basic features on board along with pure Android experience, which brings it directly face to face against the fairly new Xiaomi Mi A2 smartphone. However, if you look at it as a standalone device, you get everything from a 19:9 aspect ratio screen, compact form factor, decent cameras, good battery life and external storage support. Android 9.0 Pie should come as a cherry on top if nothing else.
We are impressed with the handset and would recommend it straight away if you are looking for a pure Android smartphone that is not Xiaomi or Motorola. But with the above offering and the company’s active status in the OS update program, the Nokia 6.1 Plus for sure is a ‘notch’ above others for the time being.
